Bowmer + Kirkland has been selected by the Department for Education (DfE) as the main contractor to redevelop Toot Hill School in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.
The transformative School Rebuilding Programme (SRP) proposals include the demolition of most existing buildings and the construction of two new school buildings – a main teaching block and a second block of teaching spaces and the sports centre. The current sixth form college block will remain.
The DfE has tasked Bowmer + Kirkland with developing a scheme that will; better accommodate students, staff and the community; enable the school to remain operational on-site during construction; target net zero carbon in operation; and provide improved facilities.
The project team has been working closely with the school in preparation of the proposals. This website helps support our programme of community engagement and will be updated as the plans progress.
